Wow Lesley, I'm sorry for your difficulties trying to get relief from your pain... although I have to agree with the others that your "Granny does pot" story is humorous. Many of us would not have enough experience or recent experience to know how to pull it off.
I'm afraid I only tried pot twice, in college, and hated it. Haven't had it since then so I have no advice.

Hugs for your pain. I hope you find some relief.

Carol

Leah - that's what I am doing - looking for the plant with the form of CBD (without the "head high" but with a "body high" - i.e. pain blocking, which will help me. I have to go to a different store. The one I went to was not very good for helping me with my pain. I am going to look into either a tincture or vaporizing.
This one doesn't work.

Carol - I have always hated the feeling of "high", which is why I also never used pot much. This didn't take savvy. Just, frankly, desperation.

Hi Lesley, I looked at the stores that sell medical marijuana. Leah, is right there are many different types and they all have different THC levels. The best way is to use a "bong". If you buy the weed in a medical marijuana store they can advise you how much you need. Jon

I'm terribly old school and had to go to the web to see what a vaporizer was. Interesting idea and may be just the right equipment for you, Lesley. I would prefer it cooked in brownies but then think of the calories and the munchies might make you eat the whole pan! Good luck and keep us informed of your research!

Jon - I did all that. I have to figure out a different way.

Corey - Now that is obvious after I ate the whole caramel.

HI Lesley,

I meant legally get it in PA as Tex said. I would have no problem but do not want to go back to what I escaped from years ago.
When It is legal here I am in.

Love, Maggie

P.S. - Yeah for brownies!!!!

OK. I got a vaporizer and some grass that I was assured is predominantly CBD. I have tried it a couple of times now. 2 puffs and I can feel it in my head. I have only done it at night, and slept well for 2 nights, but last night was horrible. I could not find any reasonably workable position. I thought of getting up and doing some more, but had no energy.
Right now I am in horrible pain. Do I try a puff? What do I do to relieve it?
I cannot figure this out.

I took a puff this morning. I think I need another one now. It shuts down my head, but it's not a great loss. Pain shuts it down too.

If you get the sativa form of pot, it contains mostly cbd, so lessens food cravings.
