Article on pros and cons plus research on soy.

Post by carolm »

HI all,
I didn't get all the way through this but what I saw I felt was worth posting. This article discusses how soy is one of the most prevalent and fastest growing food allergens around (which we knew) and cites research on the detriments of soy.

Edited: I just saw that it was written in 2010-- SORRY. It just showed up on my facebook page-- I thought it was current. Tex you can take this down if you want.

Hi Carol,

I didn't read all of it, but it appears to be a good article, with valid information.

I'm definitely not a fan of soy. Most people seem to be concerned with the GMO attributes of it, but as far as I'm concerned, that part is irrelevant — soybeans were not suitable for use as human food long before GMO ever came along.

No kidding. And just think of all the women feeding their babies soy formula and their husbands and sons soy milk, thinking they are being healthy.
