Linda,

I'm more than a little surprised that you are able to tolerate any of those candies. For example, the label from the Dark Chocolate Mint Cups says:

INGREDIENTS: Dark Chocolate* (cocoa liquor*†, cane sugar*, cocoa butter*†), Cream*, Cane Sugar*, White Chocolate* (cane sugar*, cocoa butter*†, whole milk powder*), Glucose*, Peppermint Flavor* (sunflower oil*, peppermint oil*).
*Organic ingredient. †Rainforest Alliance Certified™.

ALLERGENS: Dairy. Does not contain soy, gluten, peanuts or tree nuts. Our facilities are nut- and gluten-free.

The red emphasis is mine, of course. None of their labels for the various flavors include dairy as a "does not contain" item. They all appear to contain milk powder.

Tex,

I have not tried these due to my very limited diet. That last sentence...."My favorite is their dark chocolate mint cups" was taken (copied) from the website (Wise Roots Nutrition) as I was rushing to get get out of the house this morning! Sorry. :mallet:

I saw the candies, and thought about others on the site that may like to try them, because there was a chocolate discussion not too long ago.

Thanks for pointing that out.
Linda :)

Hi, I found a g-f granola bar made by "Kind". They are "Kind Healthy Grains" Maple Pumpkin Seeds with Sea Salt. They are all natural NON-GMO. I buy them Amazon and they cost less then a dollar per bar. They are available in 3 boxes of 5 bars/ box. Ingredients are, Whole grains [gluten free oats, brown rice, millet, gluten free oat flour, buckwheat, amaranth, quinoa], tapioca syrup, pumpkin seeds, non GMO canola oil, coconut, sunflower seeds, honey, evaporated cane juice, maple syrup, brown rice syrup, gum acacia, sea salt, natural maple flavor, Natural Vitamin E. I have had no reaction to them. Jon

Jon,

The granola bars sound wonderful. I will look for them to try one at my local health food store, or WF, to see if they agree with me. Hopeful!!!

Have tried the Kind bars and do like them but too much fiber for me too. Also not the easiest thing to eat with false choppers.

Safe treat that works for me as long as I don't eat too many! Rounding the corner since a relapse of MCC in April. No RX drugs, diet changes. DX in 2019.
