Does Anyone Need Another Good Reason To Eat Chocolate?

Post by tex »

Hi All,

As if any chocolate fan needs another justification for their chocolate habit:
Spanish researchers found that European adolescents who reported eating a lot of chocolate had lower BMIs and slimmer waistlines, according to a new study.
 :weirdnana: :weirdnana: :weirdnana: :weirdnana: :weirdnana: :weirdnana:

Chocolate-lovers have lower BMIs, less belly fat: study

Want another reason? This study was published about a year ago.
A study ties chocolate consumption to the number of Nobel Prize winners a country has and suggests it’s a sign that the sweet treat can boost brain power.

No, this does not appear in the satirical Onion newspaper. It’s in the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine, which published it online Wednesday as a “note” rather than a rigorous, peer-reviewed study.
Eat more chocolate, win more Nobel prizes?

How about this one (which was published about 2 years ago)?
New research suggests that eating about two chocolate bars a week could help reduce your risk of stroke.
Chocolate can cut stroke risk: study; Get benefit from dark chocolate with at least 70 percent cocoa

I found some great chocolate at Trader Joe's

Ingredients: organic chocolate, organic cocoa butter, organic raw cane sugar, organic vanilla extract.

Disclosure: Manufactured on equipment that processes milk, soy, and tree nuts.

I've found that most supermarket chocolate contains soy but I've found one brand in a supermarket and two brands in health food stores that do not.

Not long ago I was worried about my rapid weight loss and wondering if I would die. I am now on the rapid expansion program and thinking about widening my doorways as I sit writing and eating chocolate. :bloated:
