I am still here. Just have a lot on my plate right now as far as work goes. Several projects that require matching of finish which I prefer to do after dinner when the the biggest chunks of dust that fly around the shop during the day have settled. Saves me a lot of time in the final rubbing out (polishing) process but means that I have absolutely had it for the day by the time brushes are cleaned and rags and waste are disposed of safely.

All kind of a mute point in that it is -4 degrees right now so am taking the evening off since the overhead shop heater will run on and off all night and would make a mess of the finish anyway. Monday, 100 mile an hour winds swept the front range and kept me busy relighting pilot lights and even set off the carbon monoxide detector because of the down drafts. Tomorrow will feel positively balmy with a predicted high of +30.

I have a lot of kind of simple silly theories that keep me amused with my life and work one of which is that if you work long enough at something you will eventually get done. LOL. Right now it is taking a lot longer to prove the theory than other times. HaHaHa.

I feel great and seem to have avoided the holiday food nitnoids so far and intented to keep it that way. Have been taking care of of everyone elses Christmas so have not really started on my own. I keep the holidays very simple and look forward to that simplicity.

My best to everyone.

It's great to hear from you Matthew! Sounds like the weather has not been kind, and it's early too!

Love your theory about getting things done! LOL

You can keep your cold weather - that is MUCH too cold for me. I've decided that I won't be warm again until May! LOL

Don't work too hard- find some time for YOU!

Hugs,
Mars

Matthew,
Good to hear from you. I'm glad you're feeling well. As for the weather, it seems like the Denver area has rapidly fluctuating temperatures, is that right? We're solidly into winter here in Michigan. 6-8 inches of new snow tonight, although I'll believe it when I see it. I know that probably doesn't sound like much for you but it's enough to screw up traffic for us. Ah well, only 5 more months.
