Another autoimmune disorder?

Post by UkuleleLady »

I was just reading Enterolab's FAQ again (this is what I do for fun) and decided to look up Dermatomyositis, a connective-tissue disease that frequently presents as an itchy rash, often on the hands and the upper back.

I'm pretty sure I had this last year, right before the onset of my MC symptoms. It was misdiagnosed as a fungal rash (they actually never found fungus under the microscope, but they gave me antifungals anyway)

Anyway, I just can't believe how these dots continue to come together, and that they all back to gluten sensitivity.

I agree with Dr. Fine that everyone should be tested for it.

gluten sensitivity = inflammation

only in the past week, I had a conversation with my optometrist (based on my interesting medical file) and her daughter with eczema, I shared a bit of our key knowledge, she was heading home with a plan over the next couple of months to transition her family to Gluten Free (and Soy Free) and to start making her own yoghurt!.
(and she hugged me for being willing share so much info, and the list where she could find all the items ...)
