A MOVING EMOTIONAL MORNING

Post by barbaranoela »

Since meeting Carmin and Gene we have been attending their Pantano Christian Services--
As I said waaaay back---I am Roman Catholic and raised scared to death of *being bad and going to hell* by the NUNS and PRIEST that were involved in our Parish!!!

As the years passed, never really feeling anything spiritually, I stopped going to church---and my kids went their own way of worshipping--

Since last year we have been attending this Christian Parish and it is truely amazing~~~~~

Its beyond any words I can say---its a family just gathering for an hour of
truely feeling luve--finding where one lost themselves and getting back to the comfort of people---and not having the roar of a PRIEST yelling and just reading from a book---WORDS----thats all!!

Today I just   cus the children performed on the stage ,as angels, and it was the funniest thing to see how they got ready to reveal to the world that Jesus was born!!!!

Then the topping on the cake----all the CAROLS were sung by the entire congregation and there I went again
SILENT NIGHT just tears me apart~~~~~which makes me always think of the ones I have lost---

And the tears just rolled down Lou's face cus he is so thankful for his *life* ---that brought to me a flood of

Once again---we are watching all the oldie do-woppers----along with Perry Como(I luved him) Dean---McGuires--Debbie Reynold singing TAMMY--my goodness~~~~~
Gimme that music back again--

A sentimental mood is enveloping me and I luve it~~~~~
U attach so many memories when U hear this music---well I do anyway~~

Heck---time to go before I start   again~~~~

Luve U all
keep a smile
Barbara :flyingdoveleft:

You almost have me bawling too Barb. Sounds as though you had a wonderful, moving experience. And a darn good cry never hurt anyone I say.

I love seeing the kids involved in these things. It must have been great. Sounds as though Lou enjoyed it too.

I love 'Silent night' too but my all time favourites are 'Holy Night' & 'The Holy City'

Judy sang 'The Holy City' for my VIEW Club friends at our 'Christmas in July' luncheon when she was here in July. I got a bit, no a lot teary myself.

Love

Hi Barb...oh boy, you're not alone,...I teared-up twice in church today....the youth choir sang instead of the regular choir...at one point I had to stare at the ceiling to fight back the tears...I saw others who were starting to lose it too...gets me every time! JJ
