Study to be a gastro intestinal doctor, the market is booming. I keep meeting YOUNG people who have IBS or IBD. It is sad to hear their stories. To have this in your 30's or 40's seems unfair. Getting it at 58 is bad enough. Tex is right that STRESS is way up. The last few years, I have felt anxiety levels like never before. My MC flared up during a particularly stressful time in my life and I hear the same thing over and over from others on this board. The second thing is our food labels full of words and chemicals only a scientist would understand. I'm not sure what the answer is but I stay away from processed foods. It is time consuming to eat right but I've learned to cook more and it's been worth it. I'm glad that my daughter has learned something from me and she and her husband go to the Farmer's Markets Saturday mornings. Very smart move on her part.

Hahaha. Tex, I'm sure you nailed it. My hubby is way more laid back. Interesting, he's also a very succesful business man. Somehow he's managed to be succesful and effective without running himself ragged.
