Entocort 3 mg to Entocort 2 mg - It's Working Well
After Entocort 9 mg for two months, 6 mg for two months, 3 mg for 2 months, I transitioned to Entocort 2 mg by using empty gel capsules to make my own pills. I usually have an adjustment period of two weeks when I reduce Entocort. With this small reduction, my adjustment time was about 10 days.
I have used these months to learn how to completely eliminate the foods I'm sensitive to.
This slow reduction in Entocort and strict elimination of offenders seems to be the right thing for me. I have not only regained intestinal balance after the reduction, I seem to be moving forward a little bit. I increased my intake of cooked fruits and veggies a little bit within the last few days and my intestines are not objecting.
I just want to share that it seems that slow and steady is working for me.

DJ.... I love that idea of slow & steady is doing it for you!! It is so difficult to do that slow & steady stuff! It seems to take forever... and it does!
But like the tortoise & the hare fable, we can apply that truth to our healing as you pointed out. I am thrilled for you! Congrats!

I agree. My goal is to put forth my best effort the first time and hope that it pays off. I can certainly see why people with MC fall off the wagon. Recovery takes work.
