I am curious how many of us have ulcers, helio pylori, or any of the associated symptoms like acid reflux, burping, upper stomach issues like heartburn?
I read recently that h pylori (which is not directly associated with colitis because it affects the upper digestive tract) has been implicated in food allergy/intolerances and malabsorbtion problems. I'm just curious . .
If you would, weigh in here with a "yay" or "nay"?
Thanks . .
I should probably do this as a poll, sorry.
H pylori?

Marsha,
You're right. This should be done as a poll. That way the responses will be automatically organized so that anyone can see the results, and see them accurately.
I don't believe that you can assume that all reflux type symptoms are associated with H pylori. Proper wording of your poll selections, will allow you to extract a lot of information that might shed some light on that possible connection, however. This is an interesting topic.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
