A Happy New Year - In Remission!!!
To all my great friends here - a very happy new year! I am ending 2013 gluten and dairy free with minimal yeast - just the occasional glass or two of wine - and am happy to report I am symptom free (providing I stick to my diet!) for over 2 months now!!!! It has been a tough two years to get to this point and I have no illusions that there will be further hiccups ahead but this is the best I have been in well over 2 years and arguably in about 6 years! I am so grateful to you all for the support, love and kindness as well as the very sound advice! I will still be around but I wanted to take the opportunity to say a huge thank you to you all!
Merry Christmas and a very Happy and Healthy New year!!!

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Happy New Year --in remission
Great news Anne. Happy new year to you too. Wishing you a healthy 2014! Keep up the good work.
(Glad to hear that SOMEONE is in remission. Sometimes I feel like I am the last one standing. Two years GF, SF, DF, low histamine, low fiber, no greens, few peeled fruits, mesalamine, elavil, allegra and still gets in trouble for no reason whatsoever---like right now.) Go figure.
Very Happy New Year to all my friends on this forum.
(Kari---what protocol you're on right now? Last time I saw you here, you had started something interesting...)
Love you guys!
Monique

Re: Happy New Year --in remission
Oh Monique - Bless You! I guess I am really lucky 1. to live in Northern Ireland with good medics and NHS! 2. to just have fewer issues (at least at this moment) than most of you! I count my blessings daily and believe me, feeling well is so wonderful if anyone suggests "Oh a little bit won't hurt!" gets short shrift from my Mother let alone me!!wmonique2 wrote:(Glad to hear that SOMEONE is in remission. Take care!
