I know this has been mentioned before on this site, but how many of you have actually tried this and what were your results?

I use a stool to put my feet on to approximate a squatty potty. I really like it.

Hi, I use a stool or just get in the squat postion. It helps relax the spincher muscle. Helps in elimination. Just be careful not to get in the same postion when not on the seat. Jon

I have one. I would have had to buy a stool, which would have taken up more space in my very small bathroom, so I opted for this, which rests nicely against the toilet.
When I am struggling it really helps.
