Good News on Emily
Emily will be OK. She had the EEG yesterday and saw the Neurologist after. Her problem is a tic (which is whay I was hoping) It is no wonder the poor little thing has this problem what with all the upset in her life & her father's attitude. The doctor said she would be Ok. I don't know if she is going on medication. Jane does not want her to. Just have to wait & see.

That's about the best news you could have received, Liz! That is wonderful!
"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha
Liz,
That's super news. I agree with Mars, the other possibilities were too depressing to even think about. That news is a wonderful Christmas gift for the family.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Yes it is a great relief. I think you always think of the worst possibilities in these situations even though you hope in your heart that it is not serious. I think you worry more when it is your children or grandchildren who has the problem rather than if it was yourself. She still has a bit of a hurdle but not as bad as it could have been. Some of the kids at school were giving her a bit of a hard time, as they do sometimes.

Jaco, a parrot in Salzburg, could not only speak but seemed to understand grammar. Whenever his person left, Jaco would say "God be with you." But when several people were departing, Jaco would change it to "God be with all of you."
