Graduation and Vacation

Post by Polly »

Good morning!

My son graduates from H.S. today! TA DAAAAA!
After graduation we are going to the beach - my son to spend "senior week" with his friends and hubby and I to visit his mom. As you may remember from the past, this will not be much of a vacation. MIL is 89 and needs a lot of help around the house/yard - plus she is a slave-driver. LOL! Anyway, I won't be near a computer. WAHHHHH. I'll miss you. We plan to be back in about 5 days. I'm sure I'll miss a lot but will have fun catching up when I return.

Love,

Polly

Good Morning, Dear Polly and CONGRATULATIONS on your son's graduation. What a big day - I'm so happy for you.

I feel like I know your MIL very well; she and my MIL sound like two pieces of the same cloth. Try to get away from her as much as you can - go on some long beach walks and get lost.....

We will miss you; but you deserve a vacation. Have some fun in the sun

Love,
Karen

Congrats to your son! One milestone reached! You must be proud!

Find some time to enjoy yourself while you're gone!

 ya when you get back!

 Congratulations to your son (AND to you) regarding his Graduation. It IS a milestone, isn't it.

I hope you will find some time to relax during your trip. Sounds like MIL is just a tad demanding. :???:

Happy Graduation to your Son! What are his plans.....you know after he has fun this summer?

Have a great time at the beach, sneak away from MIL for some "ME TIME"

Polly,

Congrats to Derek! Geoff and I were chatting about HS graduations last night...Tonight is prom night up here (in fact we have mine and Geoff's prom picture (or one of them) hanging on the wall over this computer), graduation is next Saturday, and the following week is Alumni weekend...Its my classes 15th. Doesn't seem like that.

Do find some "me" time while you are on vacation.

Congrats on the graduation. I remember well when both of our sons graduated from High School.

Good luck with the slave driving Mother In Law...LOL Both my mom and my husband's mom died in the first couple of years we were married so never really had to deal with one. Now I ARE the Mother in law..LOL

Have a safe trip

Hi Polly,

A milestone in one's life after spending so much time, love and energy raising a son. Boy does Frank know that one.

Enjoy your time as much as you can while you are away. I know the MIL saga and you just have to take deep breaths and enjoy some.
