pain releif

Post by beni »

Hi, last year I broke my ankle and needless to say it hurt!!!pain releif is a tricky one with MC, the pills they gave me made me too sleepy or constipated. My mother lives in Spain and she sent me Nolotil, generic Metazmizol, it helped a lot without ANY side effects. in the last few months I seem to be slipping back a bit and I am getting infrequent trouble with my bowels, thats ok, I know I am one of the lucky ones who can live a normal life(thanks I believe to this forum) but when I get a flare I also get an amount of cramping pain, in the past I have just put up with it but the last few times I have taken Nolotil and it really works. Now the crazy thing is it cannot be bought in Ireland or it seems other countries in Europe, only Spain and other spanish speaking countries like south america etc, in Spain its an over the counter pain releif costing only 2. 20 euros for 20!!!!!!!! one tablet works on my cramp but you can take upto 6 a day, needless to say I stocked up when I was there in the winter, I thought you guys might like to know this, of course it works like any other pain killer, for headaches, toothach, backache etc, I am glad to have found it , Beni

Hi Beni, Wiki isn't always the best info but it's a good starting place. From what I'm reading, Metazmizol is a very effective pain reliever and fever reducer. It's available in several countries and banned in others, including the United States. It has risks but so do many OTCs in this country.
The whole story can be found on Wiki by Googling Nolotil or Metazmizol.

I'm happy that you found relief.
