Colitis does not like Kentucky Fried Chicken (even the grilled kind) or even one tablespoon of Cole slaw or mashed taters and gravy. Get back on the wagon and away from junk foods! *sigh*

Brave for even trying! Cole slaw is like sand paper for us, gravy has gluten ...Yes, go back to your real food and stay there! Not worth the price we pay each time we deviate. Courage.

Yeah, KFC is a mine field! I can eat coleslaw as long as i make it with soy free mayo , but almost all mayo has soy , mashed potatoes have dairy, and gravy has gluten…. who knows what they marinate that chicken in!

I know! But I am so darn hungry all the time. I really watched it today and only had chex with almond milk and a little bit of banana. Then about hole Number 10 I could feel the pains coming back which stressed me to the max and put me into panic mode. Stopped playing, gulped 2 Imodium and just rode in the golf cart for rest of day. That sux but at least I didn't have an accident out on the course . Man what a friggin nightmare.

Popeyes might be a better option. They probably cook everything in the same fryer. At least it is closer to my house than the KFC.

yes, I feel like this whole MC thing is a horrible nightmare and someday I am going to wake up! I've also likened it to the Twilight Zone. Maybe you are too young to remember that show!

My dear husband has grilled us fresh lobster tails and a Rib eye tonite. Lord knows what that will bring later.....have mercy! He thinks he is pampering me. Let's hope!

As long as clarified butter (ghee) was used on the lobster tail (rather than regular butter), and no butter or soy sauce was used on the rib eye, you should be OK.

I have used Earth Balance with lobster and it's okay, but mostly I just use lemon.

It's never ending. It does get easier when you you know your safe foods. I'm still guessing at a few of my own choices but am just coasting right now on what mostly works for me. Have a few stressors that have been rather time consuming so my head isnt into the game.

KFC has the best coleslaw ever. Memories.
