Merry Christmas
Off to visit Sister now & take her Christmas cake to her. Our day arrives a bit before yours so the next few days will be pretty hectic. Jane & kids arrive this afternoon so I probably wont get on the board too much until after Christmas. I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas & a safe. happy & healthy New Year in 2006.
Love to all.

Merry Christmas to you and yours too Liz. I wish I would be outside having a barby at this time of year too!!! I for one would not miss the snow!
Although it is not too cold out here, pretty mild actually, but we do have snow, about 6 inches in the yard. I have Pebbles shaved right down, so she is not too impressed with the cold snow. I put a coat on her, I bought her boots, but she did not know how to walk in them. I just about gave myself a hernia laughing at her trying to walk, you had to be there, but she kept trying to keep one leg up and move and it just didn't work.
Have a great holiday, and best wishes in the New Year.
Gentle hugs
Wendy

Looks like being a pretty hot Christmas. It is 36c (about 98f) today but is expected to reach 38 ( 100.4) or higher on Christmas Day. Air conditioners are running full time. We are having seafood (fish, prawns, scallops, calimari) dinner tonight. Going to cook turkey for dinner tomorrow (Christmas Eve) and have everthing cold on Christmas Day. Got ham, smoked chicken, pastrami, as well as more turkey & seafood so I think we will be OK. Robert has put a crab pot out so with a bit of luck we may a nice big muddie as well. Maybe a nice col beer or two to go with it.
Going to have Tiramisu for sweets instead of plum pudding, the kids love it. Lots of fruit too, including the obligatory watermelon.
