All sounds encouraging, Monique! Keep us informed!

Zizzle,
Good news from you too!

I am 2 weeks into 3mg LDN. Doing ok. Hope he bumps me up to 4.5mg. Had my first weird vivid dream today while napping. Have no idea if it was related to LDN but it sure was real and vivid!

Monique, have you dealt with the Israeli pharmacy before? I have had good results with Allday chemist. I would appreciate the info on how to dissolve it. Deb

Deb et all,

I haven't dealt with the Israeli pharmacy but I know one woman on another forum who only buys from them and she said that she trusts them. Another woman said that she never got her shipment but she was never charged either. I think there was a mix up somewhere because the drugs are shipped from Italy, not Israel.

As for the India one, if you've had good experience with them, then use it. They are certainly more economical.

The ratio is 1:1. 50mg pill/50ml water. You need to get a syringe (without needle) from the pharmacy. You can find them at the baby section with ml markings. Some pharmacists give them for free if you ask them. You get one that has measurings of at least 10ml. You use distilled water, a small bottle will do. You put 50 ml of water into a small glass jar (if you have a syringe that only draws 10ml then you have to do it 5 times). Add your pill, let it dissolve in the fridge completely. What's at the bottom is fillers and you don't need that. If you have a dark glass jar or bottle it's better.

Then you draw the ml that you want. it's quite simple. If you dissolve one pill and you take 4.5mg a day, then it should last you more than 10 days for each pill.

Hope this helps.

From the Israeli one. It was pricey. I got my order confirmation a few minutes after sending in the order. I'll have to look into Allday Chemists.

Thanks for the solution mixture too.

Polly, Monique, Joan. My GP won't give it to me without the OK of the GI. I will email him and ask him about it. I have not been dx'd with PPS, so that might work in my favor in this case. I haven't had any energy for so many years! Right now I am eating so few foods, and am still inflamed. Same floaty, mucous-y stuff as it has been, and the same need to use a Dr. Schultze's after a few days as ever, in spite of being as careful as I can. I would LOVE to feel better, have energy etc., etc.
Of course it doesn't make it easier that the last epidural hasn't helped, and my back has been ridiculously painful. Sitting, lying, and just hanging (literally) in the pool more or less OK, but standing and walking? I am doing it because of Licorice, but it is really, really hard.

I'm back from Florida and happy to report that the LDN seems to have drastically reduced my sun sensitivity! I wore a hat a and rash guard to the pool and wore SPF 30 or 50 most of the time, but I certainly got enough sun to cause a rash flare, and tadaa! nothing happened!! My existing rash continues to recede every day...very slowly.

I did eat foods that caused D, but not more than once a day and not urgent.

Well, shame on you for falling off the safe food wagon. But  on the apparent progress of the LDN treatment.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Hi Z. et all,

Wonderful news Z.! I am doing real good. No pain, more energy and a feeling of well being I didn't have before. I only had a couple of nights when I didn't sleep all that great but now I sleep right through.

So far it's all good. Nothing bad.

Regards,

Monique

Z - great news indeed!!

And Monique - There is something wrong with the Kaiser website, so I can't write to my doc tonight. I will try again tomorrow. I cannot imagine being without pain! I might even go back to knitting!

Another side effect I forgot to mention...LDN seems to have stopped my extreme sea sickness! I get ill just floating on a pool raft, and I can't do boats at all. I got nauseous with headache on a docked Navy ship once!
Well I took a boat to the beach at our resort and I felt nothing. Maybe a slight headache twinge, but 98% better than my norm. Could cerebellar autoimmunity caused by gluten and casein sensitivity be to blame after all these years?? And now LDN is calming this process?

http://brainhealthbook.com/gluten-dairy ... oimmunity/

I'm still twitcher than usual and my tremor is no better. My in- laws think I'm getting Parkinson's.
