Observation, Vit d levels

Post by Gabes-Apg »

As some (or most) will be aware, in the past couple of months I was made redundant, and moved interstate to be closer to family.
I have not had close contact with my family for about 8 years. Aside from the physical stress of the move in the peak of summer weather, there was a bit of mental and emotional stress as I embraced this new chapter of my life.

Prior to the move, in Oct my Vit d3 level was 116 (290 in the Aussie measurement)
3 months later the level has dropped to 56 (140 in Aussie measurement)

I have been having 3500-5000 iu per day sub lingual, the whole time.

This outcome has reiterated that during stressful events/situations how quickly the level can drop.

Thanks for the reminder Gabes. It's the end of the school year-- always a stressful time. Your post reminded me to get back on D3.

The brand is Bio-ceuticals.
Mine is the forte, each drop has 1000iu
They also have a 300iu drop
In Australia it is classed as a practitioner range, a naturopath, or pharmacist are the only ones that can supply it.
One of my closest friends is a naturopath, and I have purchased it from good quality local pharmacy.

I think Joe found the equivalent via his local compounding pharmacy.

Bio-ceuticals also have Vit B12 sublingual spray, and soy free CoQ10 sub lingual tablet.
