10 day vacation HURRAY!

Post by m »

Finally made it to vacation time! I think this is only the 2nd time in 23 years of working that I've been able to take the week between Christmas and New Years off. I plan to do NOTHING! I'm so tired of frantically running here and there. I brought some work home, of course, but I'm only going to work on it if I feel like it. I just want to do what I want to do when I want to do it. I'd like to maybe experiment in the kitchen. I haven't had anything new in 6 months or more.

Congrats! Definately enjoy your time off. Also let us know what you come up with in the kitchen! But be careful...we don't want you getting sick while you are supposed to be having fun!

Excellent Melissa! Try and take time for yourself...some rest, relaxation, pampering, sleeping in...you know, the good stuff!

I have to work a half day today then am off until January 3 - woohoo!

Merry Christmas!

Sometimes doing nothing is great. While I have been off with the surgery I have made a couple of Afhagans and done some embroidery....I love it. Not to mention reading. I drove for the first time in 2 mos. today. Have a great vacation. Love Oma
