I received the kit yesterday. Used it this morning and had a PPP (picture perfect poop) for the first time in 4 months.
I have been on Uceris for a couple of weeks. Have cut way back on gluten, meaning I have eliminated foods made mostly of flour but have not read every single thing in the pantry. I have increased protein, and started having an avocado and banana each day (for insoluble fiber). Have been drinking water kefir daily.
My question is would the Uceris mask food sensitivity that much? Or am I onto a good diet?

The makers of Uceris claim that no significant amount of it enters the blood stream, so therefore it should not have any significant systemic effects (such as suppressing adrenal function). It should however mask food sensitivities (if it's working), by suppressing symptoms in the gut.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Budesonide definitely masked egg sensitivity for me. It wasn't until I was off of it that I could see egg sensitivity. I had already stopped eating gluten, dairy and soy. I had my Enterolab tests a few weeks after I stopped Budesonide and as predicted it showed sensitivity to the big 4.
