Polly,

Yes, we've been sharing thoughts and experiences for over 10 years now. My how time flies when we're having fun. LOL. I hope the next 10 years will be less stressful than the early years were. Those were interesting times, for sure.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Happy belated Doctor's Day Polly  - it is reassuring to have an understanding voice from the medical community with us here. However, with all the focus on gluten and other food sensitivities lately, I believe that little by little more doctors are "waking up" to the reality of what we're dealing with (one can only hope :)).

And Tex, I agree with others here - you're a hero in my mind for your amazing knowledge and loving and supportive presence here.

Lots of love and thanks to both of you,
Kari

OOps-- I'm late to the party-- but I echo everyone's words. I was just telling someone yesterday that I have no doubt I would still be sick, wasting away and probably unable to work if not for the guidance and leadership here.

Thank you Polly for lending us your ear and expertise. You ask the hard questions and that makes us dig up the answers.

And I'm with Jean-- to 'better than most GI docs' Tex. Thanks for all you do. Can't say it enough.

Carol
