GP appt this mornin!!!yahooooo he agrees

Post by Heady »

Even though I feel like I have been hit by a truck I went to my 9:30am GP appt. I told him of this mornins ill effects. I asked about his thoughts on Enterolab, mentioned our family here, discussed lab tests. Turns out his wifey has bowel disease & has just had surgery so he is totally on board.he is however sceptical about Enterolab but says that because it is noninvasive it's worth a try, and will see me again after I get my lab work here done. So thankful I have his support. Well... Tomorrow is another day. Hope it's better than today!

Enterolab results are very accurate as long as you don't have Selective IgA Deficiency.

I have a lab slip full of tests to complete this week including IgA deficiency. As soon as I feel better i will go get those tests before I venture to Enterolab. Just glad my GP is on board.

I agree that you're lucky to find a doctor who is at least open-minded enough to recognize that the EneroLab tests are worth a try. Most doctors are automatically opposed to food sensitivity tests based on stool samples because similar tests that have been offered in the past, simply did not work. The EnteroLab stool tests, in fact, are the only tests available for food sensitivities that actually do work, and not only do they work, but they are accurate and reliable.

Their test for gluten sensitivity, for example, is several orders of magnitude more sensitive that the outdated blood tests used by doctors to screen for celiac disease. The EnteroLab test will typically detect gluten sensitivity several years before the celiac blood tests will show a positive result. That usually means that patients have to suffer with symptoms for at least several years before a blood test will detect celiac disease, because the intestinal damage has to be major, before the blood tests will return a positive result. That's why the average time from the onset of symptoms, until a celiac diagnosis is handed down by a doctor, typically takes 9.7 years in this country, according to the latest-published statistics (published in 2011). The EnteroLab test, by contrast, will show a positive result as soon as symptoms begin.
