OMG I am so sick !!!

Post by Heady »

OMG. Ruuuunnnns, back pain, pain at waist on left side, nausea, bloated. Had a warm shower and mental meltdown. Took a dose of pepto bismol. Nausea is almost gone. Sitting on heating pad & a wheat bag on my gut. Likely suspect...Last night supper I ate a leftover(24hr)burger that had cheese in it. Holy crap is this what happens when I eat cheese? What a rude awakening. This has been a really good lesson for me to have a set back. Won't ever have that lapse in judgement again!

1:30 pm now. Gotta admit I am gun shy now.wish I could go for a bit without a meal.

I'm sorry Heady. I would also suspect the cheese rather than the burger that was cooked the day before. I don't remember the exact stats but something like 95% of us are gluten sensitive and around 70% of us are dairy/casein sensitive. That's a fairly high number.

I hope you get better quickly.

Hi Heady,

Sorry to hear that you're having such a severe reaction. I agree with Carol that the cheese is probably the problem. I hope the reaction lets up soon.

If it doesn't get better after another day or so, you might be having a diverticulitis flare. You would know better than I if your symptoms match your typical diverticulitis symptoms. Note that during episodes of active diverticulitis, the mucosa of the diverticuli is marked by the same pattern of lymphocytic infiltration (inflammation) as LC.

I never even knew I had diverticulosis till I had my colonoscopy Jan23. My report said I had "early signs of diverticulosis" so I am not thinkin that is it. I lost 1.5lb today. Wow I really am full a $(-)I +. Lol. I am still having D and waves of nausea. Even the smell of food is just about making me gag. Maybe I picked up a bug at the womens show on Sunday. I feel like I have a case of the flu but have managed to keep everything down .

Your symptoms certainly sound as though they could be due to some sort of intestinal virus.

"Good morning". I feel fine this mornin.still WD. I had terrible leg aches last night . I am quite sure that was viral. It wasn't like any MC WD I've had so far. I am no longer nauseous. I did resist taking pain killer. Didn't get flu shot last fall cause I had the runs so bad. So happy to be feeling ok!
