Happy Thursday!
I have eliminated grains (can't do corn, rice, oats anyway). So, I am eating meats & sunflower seed butter muffins, some pecan butter & veggies. My question is.....I am feeling better as far as having a bit more energy, clear head, and only going to the bathroom 1-2 X per morning, but my BM's are small and gassy.
I tried digestive enzymes, and that didn't work for me. I do take betaine HCL & Vit D3.
I wonder if I should cut back on the seeds/nuts and eat more veggies? I eat potato for one meal, veggie for another, & sunflower seed muffin for another with my meat. My snack is a slice of pecan bread, or a granola I make out of pecans, sunflower seeds & coconut.
I'm trying to get back to a larger stool (more like normal) that I was accomplishing before stopping my teff flour waffles! It's all a balance with the fiber, too. I don't seem to respond to antihistamines either.
Anyone have any comments?
Thank you!

Tough question. The only way to find out is to experiment. For a couple days, take out the seeds and nuts and see if things get better. it shouldn't take long to see results. If you still have the gas and thin BMs, then add the nuts back in and cut the veggies… depending on the vegetables. Some are easier to digest then others. Do you eat sweet potato? That is a good filler. The other thing is sugar. Do you muffins and granola have sugar in them? Sometimes that can be an issue. good luck figuring it out. Keep us posted :)

Hi Gabes! I guess you're right about my 'normal'. It seems about every two weeks I get more bloating/gas than usual, then my system calms downs again. It could be I'm eating more quantity. If I keep it a small meal, I am better off. Or, maybe it's a histamine build up?
Hello Leah! I can't eat sweet potato (per MRT), but maybe I'll cut out the yellow potato and have other veggies for both meals, and see what happens. I hope it's not the seeds. My food selection is small enough! I don't use sugar in the muffins or granola, just a tablespoon of maple syrup in the whole batch. I only eat 3 blueberries baked into my muffins, too.
