Welcome, Martha! I don't have much to add except that your desperation is not unusual, and you are not the first that we've gathered round and hugged on.
I just want to add my endorsement of bone broth. It is very healing.
Please help me, I'm struggling to want to continue….

Hi Martha,
You can do this!!!!
I decided , before I found this forum, to go on the BRAT diet, it's used as an elimination diet, banana, rice, applesauce, tea. I did that for a week then added chicken and a new food every four days.
It worked in that it healed me, or gave my colon a rest. Showed which food I can't eat.
You could Try something like that, it, seems awful now but it will get better.
Congrats on getting thru surgery for a brain tumour, I read that the meds they give you to empty out your insides to get ready for surgery can also irritate your intestines and colon, so time may help here.
We,re here for you, I'm 74 and if I healed so can you
Hugs
