You can do this!!!!
I decided , before I found this forum, to go on the BRAT diet, it's used as an elimination diet, banana, rice, applesauce, tea. I did that for a week then added chicken and a new food every four days.
It worked in that it healed me, or gave my colon a rest. Showed which food I can't eat.
You could Try something like that, it, seems awful now but it will get better.
Congrats on getting thru surgery for a brain tumour, I read that the meds they give you to empty out your insides to get ready for surgery can also irritate your intestines and colon, so time may help here.
