Just thinking, my enterolab showed 11 for casein. Just 1 point above normal.
I have had bad reactions from dairy for a couple of years. Would this make my number lower because I haven't eaten much of it in years.
Also do the numbers correspond to the reaction severity?

According to Dr. Fine, the magnitude of the test result numbers are a general indication of the length of time that we have been reacting. IOW, the longer we continue to react, the higher the numbers (within limits). Of course, this is assuming that the food is eaten regularly. As soon as the food is removed from the diet, the numbers begin to decay. Therefore, if we eat such a food only occasionally, then the antibody number will be lower, because it will increase each time we eat it, and then the antibody level will begin to decline again.
There is no known association between the severity of clinical symptoms, and the magnitude of antibody levels.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
thanks Tex, am trying to digest (pun intended) a lot of info in as short a time as possible. Already feel so much better, it is absolutely worth the effort to get it right.
