Jon, I'm am currently reading Deepak Chopra's book 'Reinventing the Body, Resurrecting the Soul' and he is talking about the role of the epigen in 'turning genes on and off'. Fascinating stuff.
Such synchronicity that you post this while I'm reading about it.

Hi Carol, The researchers for FSHD are looking for a method of turning the switch for the genes. Unfortunately they are looking for a drug with too many side effects. When, you think of how fast the body produces new cells and the proper sequencing of the amino acids it is very interesting. It does not take much to cause a deletion or substitue the wrong amino acid in the transcription of the DNA. The site mentioned how proper nutrition can effect us for life. Jon
