I was wondering if you could make a sticky note that would be a quick reference for us regarding safer drugs MCers can take.
In case of an emergency situation or just a flu bug strikes, we'd have an easy to find guide.
I was thinking about pain meds, antibiotics etc.
I was just thinking ahead......

That's probably a good idea, because while that information is available, it's scattered all over the place. For example, information on antibiotics can be found here, in the Information on Medications forum. And the biggest problem with antibiotics, is that there is no such thing as an antibiotic that's perfectly safe, let alone safe for everyone. The best we can hope to do is to select the lesser of all the available evils.
And information on antihistamines can be found here, under mast cells. And in so many cases, a simple listing may be inadequate, because there are so many different issues to be considered, that some discussion and clarification may be necessary. IOW, the assembled listing may end up being a list of links to other posts that offer more detail, because as Gabes would say, "It depends".
One of the reasons why we've never tried to assemble an extensive list is because manufacturers sometimes change inactive ingredients without warning, and that can really throw a monkey wrench into the machinery. The second issue of course is that we all tend to have our own unique set of sensitivities, but I would assume that if we try to include selections that are gf, df, and sf, that would work for most of us, because most of the other food sensitivities are not commonly used in medications. And of course, we would need to include a list of medications known to cause MC due to the active ingredient.
So after all those caveats, I'll see what I can put together. If anyone already has some lists, or some suggestions on either the organization of the information, or details about individual listings, or if someone wants to take over the project, please don't hesitate to jump in here, because all help is always appreciated.

That would be great because I have seen random recommendations but find it hard to locate when I really want the info.
I can help in any way....I don't have first hand knowledge because my body has been rejecting everything in my hyper alert state for the past 2 years. But, I'm willing to do whatever I can.
