MTHFR gene mutation and many more....
Just to let you know, I have dined out on a regular basis since about a year after my diagnosis and have had very few issues. I have been to catered events such as weddings and retirement parties, and have found that if I indicate I need GF on the reply card, choose the entree that is easiest to modify, and make the server aware early in the evening, I do just fine. For example, last night I went to a wedding, and all they had to do to my entree to make it GF was leave off gravy.
Many, many restaurants have GF menus, and if you have multiple sensitivities, you can ask for that menu and then eliminate options from there.

Went to Boston Pizza for supper Monday night. They have a gluten free menu. I ordered the salmon with no lemon sauce or spice, it came with steamed veg, I asked for the veg to be well done, and instead of the salad, I asked for plain white rice. Am happy to report no ill effects. After my diabetes diagnosis June2012 I learned quickly to ask for special dietary considerations when in restaurants. I have found the restaurants we frequent once a week to be very accommodating. Thank goodness!

I am thankful for my struggle because without it I wouldn't have stumbled across my strength.
What are you willing to let go of so you can live the life you know you deserve?
