So sorry to hear this news. I will be praying for your speedy recovery and strength to get through the wait.
Just finished this routine with a friend of mine. The wait seemed to be the hardest part.

I am also so sorry to hear about the diagnosis but I know you are a determined woman and one that will conquer this and deal with the highs and lows in the same positive way you have dealt with MC. My prayers are with you and so is everyone here.

Leah,
It sounds like you are in a very early stage, and I'm sure the prognosis is good for you to fully recover and move on in life. You're a strong and intelligent woman, and you will beat this!
There have been numerous studies with Vitamin D and beating breast cancer, so keep that monitored, too.
You are on my prayer list.

Oh Leah,
What an unwelcome shock! So sorry to hear about the diagnosis, but it certainly appears that you have caught it early. As others above have said, virtually everyone I know who has battled breast cancer is alive and well. Will send positive/healing thoughts as you start this new journey.
I just read a review of a new book called "The Silver Lining" (a Supportive and Insightful Guide to Breast Cancer) by a nurse who is a breast cancer survivor named Hollye Jacobs. She wrote the book because she couldn't find a book on the subject that was simultaneously supportive and clinically credible.
Hang in there and best wishes for an uncomplicated treatment and recovery.
Love,
Polly

Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.
Dear Leah,
So very sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Having met you and spent some time with you, it's hard for me to comprehend how such a strong and vibrant woman can get health issues. You are beautiful both inside and out, and I have no doubt you will come out of this latest debacle even stronger and healthier. As Tex said, if you can conquer MC, you can surely conquer this.
I know many people, including 3 of my older sisters, who have successfully treated breast cancer, so even if it is more advanced than you anticipate, I'm sure you will do well. I'll be thinking about you and sending many positive thoughts your way.
Love and lots of hugs,
Kari

Oh, Leah!
How awful! I am so sorry! I know you are strong and that you will cope, but it is devastating news.
Like others, I know many breast cancer survivors. In fact I grew up with a breast cancer survivor. My grandmother had breast cancer in her 30s. She had a mastectomy of the left breast. Now back in those days (40's), there was no reconstructive surgery. She simply had a foam rubber "falsey" that she wore inside of her bra. She had a few extras and my sister and I would sometimes sneak into her bathroom and slip them up under our shirts (in all sorts of configurations!) - a bizarre form of "dress-up" I suppose. Anyway, my grandmother was a great seamstress and she used her "falsey" as a pin cushion. I remember arriving earlier than expected one day and having her answer the door with a breast full of pins. What a sight! My grandmother was a very elegant lady and she lived into her 80's.
I hope you find the same ability to thrive and survive in your journey.
Peace be with you.

I am sorry you have to deal with this, Leah. As others have said, I also know a lot of cancer survivors. It sounds like you are catching it at an early stage. You are a strong woman. You have showed so much determination to overcome MC, while at the same time sharing and offering knowledge to others here. You are in my prayers for great reports, and a speedy recovery.
