Oh Leah, I'm so sorry. I'm glad you caught it early. You are healthy and strong compared to so many women battling breast cancer. I have no doubt you will beat this. I only know breast cancer survivors, and lots of them, unfortunately. Seems like a rite of passage for American women. I wish you all the strength and optimism you will need to battle this, but I know you will be OK.

Dear Leah,
Thanks for sharing and we can help by being good listeners. I too know only breast cancer survivors (my sister-in-law and a co-worker). They were inspiring while going through treatment and each has now passed the 5 year mark. You must be going through every feeling in the book. Stress makes MC worse so I'm not surprised your stomach is acting up. Once you wrap your head around this as you did with MC your positive attitude will enable you to tackle this in the same way. Was this discovered through an annual mammogram?
I'm so sorry you have to go through this,
Cory

bad news for me...
I don't know what to say, Leah. I am speechless.
I am joining the others in sending you love, support and tons of Light. You'll be fine. My husband went through radiation. He got tired towards the last 2 weeks and had to take time off.
You're a trooper. You manage to support us all during our hard times. Just know that you've got us during your hard times.
Much love,
Monique

Leah, I'm sorry for the bad news. Thanks for sharing....I feel the same way about everyone here being family. You have always been informed, upbeat, and shared a great outlook on the landmines we encounter. You will have ups and downs but will overcome because you are strong.
May I ask what lead you to the dx?
Just remember to take one step at a time.

I wrote an email yesterday from my iPad and lost it when I tried to add the big hug emoticon.
I am a breast cancer (lobular carcinoma in situ) survivor since 1999. I had a lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy. The latter was very new back then. I had chemo and radiation. Chemo may have been the start of MC, we'll never know.
Believe or not, I really never think of it. I guess I'm too busy with MC.
I am sure you will be fine since it was caught so early.
BIG HUG and lots of love and good wishes.

This is very distressing news, Leah. I am going to pray that your recovery is swift and your are able to reach for the same kind of strength that has gotten you through so many other difficult health challenges.

Leah,
I haven't been around a lot for the last few days so I didn't see this till now.
I am so sorry, my dear, that this has been visited upon you on top of MC. In spite of the shock I can see you dealing with it as efficiently as you have dealt with your MC, and will beat it in the same unerring way.
You are a special person, always ready to encourage, help, give a hand up to newbies and oldsters with MC, and more than deserve our love and support through this, till you beat it (which you will) as so many women have.
I will, like all the others, wait for news and look forward to seeing you emerge from this as strong and optimistic as you usually are.
