Happy Holidays to Everyone!!!

Post by Polly »

Yup, I'm a "holiday" person, since I have friends/family who celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Ramadan, and Kwanzaa at this time of year. I don't know anyone yet who celebrates Festivus (remember that famous Seinfeld show??? LOL!).

I wish everyone peace, love and good health in the new year. One of my favorite quotes comes from the Dalai Lama, who, when asked about his religion, said: "My religion is simple. My religion is KINDNESS." What a wonderful world it would be if everyone felt and acted the same way. Sigh.

Enough philosophy! Enjoy your holiday, whatever it is, and try to eat safely (a major hurdle for most of us, LOL!)

Thank you all for being some of the bestest friends I have. You keep me healthy and sane (no minor accomplishment!).

With love and warm holiday wishes,

Polly

I hope that your holidays are happy and healthy, too, Polly. I agree with you that "kindness" is the untimate religion. It should be the foundation of every religion.

Wow Peg!

You're sharp as a tack today--or should I say, "sharp as a serpent's tooth". LOL.

I believe in Kindness....and try to do it everyday. I have heard from three of the kids...two don't bother to call or talk to us. They have issues over their mom and Dads divorce well over 18-19 yrs ago and are just now coming out with them. In fact we have two grand daughters born this last summer that we have no Idea what they look like. But this is Christmas and I am thankful that The other three have called. I will continue to believe people are good and Kind down deep....some are just kinder and sweeter(Like my brothers and sisters on this board. Bless you all and may next year be better. Love Oma

Kindness is the most important - everything falls into place when you are kind to each other.

Wishing you all the very best over the holidays and in the year to come.

Hello Polly & Everyone,

So sorry I was out of touch over the holidays but I just had to chill after the work season I had here. We had a lovely weekend and now it is a 4-day week so I am thrilled. Next Monday off too so hopefully I will be recharged.

Kindness is the true way to happiness and the Dali said it best.

Love, Maggie
