Christina,
This is associated with the subject of the thread at the following link:

Incidentally, the author of the article that you cited must be kind of a dimwit to begin the article by claiming that it was a good example of science working. It's actually a good example of science corrupted and researchers who are lost, IMO.
And why does this make her/them cheer? Whatever happened to impartial writing. What kind of axe does she have to grind? Clearly she/them are on a crusade to stamp out the gluten-free movement. That's pathetic, and it's sad.
Tex

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

What do you wanna bet the wheat industry funded Gibson's study?
Craziness!!!
So I guess it's safe to conclude that all of us who have gluten sensitivity from the nocebo effect are thrilled to sit on the toilet endlessly and be house-bound from the D. Oh yes, isn't it FUN to "pretend" to be gluten sensitive? NOT!!!!!
I agree with you Tex......why should anyone really care if someone avoids gluten? There has GOT to be some kind of corporate plot behind it all. Maybe the wheat industry pays the naysayers to write that stuff. We know it happens in other industries i.e. the oil industry pays off certain folks who deny global warming, for example.
I must be getting so jaded, but I am becoming more and more suspicious of the corporate world the older I get.....and not just big pharma.
OK, I hop off my soapbox for now. Tee Hee.
Love,
Polly

Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.
That's what I wonder. Why do people care so much whether or not someone consumes gluten? I don't expect people to cater to my food sensitivities. I am happy to bring my own food if that is necessary or just not eat if there's nothing I can have, so why do people care?Polly wrote: I agree with you Tex......why should anyone really care if someone avoids gluten?
