Fox News Program on Gluten, etc.

Post by humbird753 »

Hi Everyone,
Just missed most of the program, but Fox News has Carol Alt on their program discussing gluten/grains and the health issues they cause. I have never had good luck in trying to post something here. If someone else is able to find it, would you please post it here. It's about everything we are learning here. Gluten/grains, etc. causing inflamation which leads to diseases of all types.

that was very interesting thanks for the link.
Looking back on the last 10 years or so of my life I can see where my symptoms were dx as something else, I was given more and more prescriptions and getting sicker.
This group and diet changes have definitely changed my life.

Carol - thank you for posting that link. Although it is not the program which aired yesterday, it does cover some of the information that was in it. Yesterday's program was more indepth and discussed how alzheimers and many other "diseases" are caused by gluten/inflamation. I am still searching for the program, but also know it could be a rerun because when I type in Fox News Carol Alt and yesterday's date nothing comes up. If I am successful at finding it, I will "try" to post it here (wish me luck). :???:

I know there are programs/articles that imply if you don't have Celiac, you must be a hypochondriac and gluten sensitivity does not exist. So, for me, that's what I found most impressive about this program.
Thanks again, Carol.

Hmmmm. I typed 'Carol Alt gluten' at the Fox News site and this is what came up. I'm glad it had some of the same information. To be honest, I didn't get it watched all the way through.

Nerdhume, you found it! They did not play the entire program on this link, but that is the one I was talking about. The aired program went into more detail about gluten/inflamation, the hidden sources of gluten in foods, lotions, make-up, etc., and so much more. Thank you for your efforts in finding this. It can be frustrating when articles come out which dispute the fact that there are MANY of us who are sensitive to gluten (and possibly so much more). We all know how untrue that is.

Thanks again.

Paula
2 years ago I read the book 'how I got my wiggle back' by the childrens entertainer Blue Wiggle, anthony field.
It was a chicago based chiropractor, James Stoxen that did a chiropractor type exorcism to rid the body of inflammation. Dr Stoxen has published and spoken at many conferences globally about Inflammation and the link to heart disease, diabetes, depression/anxiety.

there are loads of articles on inflammation at his website:
http://teamdoctorsblog.com/articles-2/# ... depression
http://teamdoctorsblog.com/articles-2/#brain-fog

I wrote about the book on this forum, and James stoxen did post some replies to the discussion

hence why my main aim in my revised treatment protocol is to minimise/elminate any type of inflammation and keep it at balanced levels.
