Brookvale,

Be sure you start with a teaspoon only of MCT, and probably no more than 2 tablespoons at a meal. It can cause diarrhea, if you start with too much, or take too much. I tolerate 2 tablespoons very easily, but when I went up to three tablespoons I had trouble, and this is BEFORE MC! It's a great oil, easily tolerated, in moderation.

Glad to hear of all the great foods you are eating. Sounds like you may be turning a corner. -Chris
Diagnosed April 2014, after losing 50 lbs. in 6 months.
Delzicol April 2014 (no effect, after 3.5 weeks-removed)
Endicort April 2014 - helping, but still losing.
Pepto-Bismal 9 a day - May 2014
Thankful for support!

Hi Brooke,

Thanks for the update. That's encouraging.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
