Results of Dr Visit today

Post by annie oakley »

The official word is...."The Creeping Crud." She gave me an antibiotic Called Cephalexin 500 mg...I have had it before, and my MC tolorates it ok. Plus she gave me a bottle of Mytussin with Codiene. (she didn't give them to me, she wrote a script) and she refilled my Darvocet for me. This Crud is going around here like a bad cold the nurse told me. My regular Primary Doc was at the ER when I arrived for my appt. So I asked for another Doctor as I didn't want to wait...she gave me a woman doctor that was great with me and is what I originally was looking for in a Primary Dr. I may start going to her. I Like her. Anyway other than that I will be right as rain soon. Norman returned last night to my house...we'll see what happens after a week of Antibiotics. Sooooo...that's the way of it all. Love Oma

Hi Oma

Looks like the bug that I had before Christmas might be all over. Mine finished up with bronchitis & 2 lots of antibiotics which of course sent Norman flying out the door at 100 miles per hour. Hope you have better luck with yours. It is probably better to get on to it quickly before infection gets a hold. I still have muck on my chest but am hoping to get rid of it with regulat inhalations rather that more antibiotics. The drug you are having it is pretty strong I think . It was one of the antibiotics that I was given when I had Septicemia. I took 'Inner Health Plus' which is a probiotic for some time to try to restore things during & after the massive doses that I had back then & I think it does help any time that you have to go on antibiotics.

Hope you are feeling better soon. A couple of hugs should help/

Sounds like you're on the road to recovery.

How are the fires? Not creeping closer I hope. We've had about 48 hours of rain. I wish I could send you some!

Liz...I usually use something after Antibiotics to restore the natual way of things also. I hate antibiotics but sometimes it the lesser of two evils.

Hazel: so far we are good on the fires. I feel those who were not. Love Oma
