I remember someone posting about a safe bar to carry with them when in a hurry.

Thanks, Connie

Lara bars are usually OK for us. However, if you are in an active flair, the fiber may be too much.

That's it. Thank u. Maybe not for now but in the future. We have to drive for 3 hrs tonight and I'm sure the others will want to eat out. I'm trying to think of something to pack for me.

In addition to Lara bars, Pure, Rise, and Zing also make bars that are free of G, D, and S. Enjoy Life also makes sunbutter crunch bars and berry crunch bars. The EL bars are nut free as well as G, D, and S free.

If you're looking for chocolate, Enjoy Life bars are okay. Trader Joe's has a couple that are soy free, and I have also found Rapunzel and Alter Eco chocolate bars that are safe.

I am gluten, dairy, and soy free, but eat nuts and safe grains.

Milk chocolate contains dairy.

Dark chocolate usually doesn't. The Enjoy Life milk chocolate bars have rice milk, I think.

I eat KIND bars in a pinch. I can eat almonds, so I enjoy the coconut /almond bars. As far as chocolate goes, Perugina makes excellent dark chocolate ( 51% and a 70 %) and uses sunflower lecithin instead of soy. I get mine from an independent supermarket, but I think that World Market also has it.

I stock up on Lindt 85% and 90% dark chocolate bars. The high cocoa concentrations usually don't have soy. A square or two at night is a great treat, and I'm grateful I can still have a little chocolate.
