I need a "safe" multivitamin...

Post by 423proverbs »

I did try to search around the forum, and I found a post that listed the name of some brands of vitamins that are usually free of additives that would cause issues. But does anyone care to share the specific multivitamin that they take? The name/brand and/or link would be most appreciated! The multivitamin/whole food supplement I've been taking is awesome for someone with a normal colon, but since many of you pointed out to me, I think it has way too many things in it that could be contributing to my issues.

Right now I'm taking Kirkland (Costco) Mature Multi, vitamins and minerals. It is gluten and yeast free, no artificial colors or flavors and no preservatives. It does contain corn and tapioca starch. It is so annoying to stand in a busy store trying to read very tiny print that crawls around the label. If you have a lot of issues, it may be easier to find a vitamin online or at your local health food store.

I take CVS brand Spectravite, comparable to Centrum Silver.
No: yeast, wheat, gluten, milk/milk derivatives, lactose, sugar, preservatives, soy, artificial flavor.

I take MultiVites Adult Gummy multivitamins. No gluten, dairy, or soy. I get them at Sam's Club, but they're available at most pharmacies.
