MRT Update

Discussions can be posted here about mediator release testing (MRT), as offered by Oxford Biological Technologies, in conjunction with the LEAP program, which is claimed to determine a relative level of sensitivity to various foods and chemicals by measuring an increase in the ratio of liquids to solids in a blood sample that has been exposed to a specific allergen.

MRT Update

Post by mbeezie »

Hi PP,

It has been a while since posted (although I still lurk once in a while). . . . all is well on my end health-wise, as long as I avoid high histamine loads and take my antihistamines. My life is full and busy - my son is going into high school so there is never a dull moment at home. My private practice is also thriving. Mostly I focus on couples counseling and I love that work.

As of July 31, 2014 I will be phasing out the nutrition counseling portion of my practice. It was a very small part of my practice and it just doesn't make sense to advertise, keep up licenses and malpractice insurance for the little bit I was making. Those of you that want LEAP/MRT services can contact the following for information or referrals:

Oxford Biomedical (for LEAP/MRT)
www.nowleap.com
(888) 669-5327

Susan Linke (for LEAP/MRT)
www.susanlinke.com
(469) 233-0710

Wishing you all the best,

Mary Beth

Hi Mary Beth,

Thanks for the update.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
