Great news Polly!!! I like Jean have started to add back in salads. HOWEVER, I got so excited because I didn't react that I bought a huge container of mixed greens and had salads for lunch and dinner for 2 days.....I know, I know...I have trouble with moderation, but I did get a rather gentle reminder so I haven't had anymore for a week and I will try to remember that this is a LIFESTYLE change and I need to use my god-given smarts.

Everything will be ok in the end, if it's not ok, it's not the end.
Great for you Polly to add some variety to your diet. Congrats.
I have been 4 weeks D free., with Normans daily. Feeling great. I was starving hungry, low blood glucose, so out of desperation I ate a burger with pickle, romaine lettuce & tomato on a gluten free bun. I did make sure to tell waiter I have a gluten allergy. Eureka .... No ill effects. Thank god for sparing me. I was all prepared to spend the next week suffering. Was sooo nice to enjoy!
Now to work at eliminating the hot flashes. Haven't slept thru the night in 12 yrs! Any solutions ladies???

I am thankful for my struggle because without it I wouldn't have stumbled across my strength.

Heady, have you tried any of the "natural" remedies on the market? I do have to say that when I was having night sweats, I did buy one. It worked, but my MC symptoms deteriorated after about a month on them.
Hi Heady, I got hot flashes that were horrific. I started taking HRT and they improved greatly. I still had minor sweats but not nearly as bad. Every time I tried stopping the HRT, the sweats came back. Now I take a minimal dose, every other day and it keeps the sweats away and other issues at bay. It is a controversial decision, but I'm comfortable with it for the time being. The HRT doesn't effect Normans or digestion for me.

That's what I'm sure will happen to me, Lesley. I'll collapse into a puddle of cellulite when I stop. The HRT doesn't seem to have any impact on the MC. So far, knock wood, Norman has been pretty regular with the exception of the very stressful times when my DIL over-dosed. I was blaming food for the D I was having when the culprit was stress.
I hope you are continuing to do well with LDN therapy.

No HRT for me as my Mom had breast cancer & my PCP duznt recommend that I go that route. Now that spring is here I can turn my ceiling fan on and open my bedroom window. That helps a little. I was really hoping that my elimination diet and exercising would help.

Funny how excited and happy we are to be able to add something new. We really appreciate and celebrate food. A 'normie' would not enjoy a single food item the way we do. 'Normies" take eating all those foods forgranted. You gave me more hope today and I am happy to hear about you successes.
