I'm unable to edit my profile, because every time I try, I get a notice that my e-mail address is incorrect. Which it is, because for some reason my username is appearing as my e-mail address! I have no idea why that is happening --- I did try to correct it a month ago but it locked me out of my account when I tried. Once I got back on board, my e-mail address (instead of being corrected) reverted back to my username….
Anyway -- I can't seem to edit anything, nor have I been able to upload an avatar of any kind. Not a huge deal, but it would be nice to have something there other than that blue and yellow flag….
Can't edit my profile…..

Hi Cindy,
Well, I looked at your account, intending to edit the information, but your username and email address appear to be displaying in the correct locations (in my browser). That suggests that you may have a browser problem.
Are you by any chance trying to edit your profile on an iPhone or an iPad? The automatic correcting features of those operating systems can cause all sorts of weird issues in certain situations.
In case it's due to a cookie problem, try clearing your cookie cache by clicking on the link below that says: Remove cookies set by this forum, and following the onscreen directions. When is says to close your browser, be sure that you close all open tabs, because if any are left open, the cookie cache will not be properly cleared.
If that doesn't resolve the problem, please let me know.
Tex
P. S. Avatar uploading issues are common, because of the image file size limitations. Feel free to email an image file to me, and I'll be happy to resize it and upload it into your profile.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Well, I cleared the cookies, but my username is still being displayed where my e-mail address should be. I'm using my laptop exclusively for this site (MacBook Pro, using Safari as my browser).
I may take you up on the avatar uploading, as I was unable to upload even a stock avatar from the site, due to the e-mail address issue…
Thanks for the help, Tex!
