Marliss,
If it is autoimmune related, IMO the C, bromelain, E, DHA etc is your best option.
Maybe with the events of the past 4 months your body has depleted the levels a bit.

I always had dodgy ears from childhood. I just realised via this conversation that they have been worse at the times my body is inflammation overdrive..... Mmmm

The other gabe pondering I have, I find it interesting when the symptoms that are occurring are not directly related to the gut, it is elsewhere. Does that mean that there has been good healing and the gut is not the weakest point? There is still inflammation, but it is making itself known differently.

Healing hugs xo

I am sorry for your loss, Marliss. My prayers go up for you and your family. I don't have any advise on the new health related issue you are dealing with, but it sounds like you're already getting some good opinions from others. I pray also you get symptoms under control quickly.

Thanks, Paula.

Gabes, I realized I misspoke when I said I had bromelain. i have papain, from papaya.

I had many ear infections in childhood, and have always had to be careful with them. My gut is in a little bit of an uproar, but I think it's because I have to drop apples and bananas from my diet, at least for a while.

So you've made me start thinking about this, too--when the gut is doing better, does the inflammation show up somewhere else? Until we eliminate/get a handle on inflammation in our bodies, will we chase it from one weak(er) organ to another?

It makes getting rid of inflammation a priority, a bell you've been ringing for a long time now.

Bromelain is not that expensive, it may help the gut a bit as well. (so will the Vit C)

yep, cause based on the journey of so many here (via the discussions over the past 4.75 years) inflammation is the 'root cause' of so much. in this past 6 months gaining knowledge about cells, and the impact of tainted or dodgy cells, we can eliminate/minimise the inflammation, we just need the right nutrients/minerals to fix the cells.

They type of inflammation and where it is occurring, our body is telling us which nutrient it needs.
The text book I now have, "Nutrient bible - Henry Osiecki" (best $45 I have spent) decodes those messages from the body.

Yesterday I was clever so wanted to change the world, today I am wise so I am changing myself. Rumi

I always joked that when MC starts, it is like an Alien possessed our bodies and changed the language of our immune system so that we could not figure out what was going on.
Thinking that way, sort of held me back from trying to figure it out. (and the reality that I dont have the highly scientific brain like Tex, Polly, Joe and others) this past 6 months of being unemployed I have had the time to work at my pace to decipher the code.

Dear Marliss,

Yes, Mansfield is closer to me. But I totally understand that you wouldn't want to see anyone but family at a time like this. This is a time for being with family, for talking, for grieving, and for sharing good memories of your brother with them.

Love

Marliss, I just saw this. I'm rather sporatic on the board these days. I am so sorry for your loss, and so sorry you have to cope with some medical issues on top of it. I've been thinking about you, too. When things are better for you and I get a little more time, I would like to run some things by you regarding the MTHFR gene issue. I did the 23andme testing and found out I have a double mutation. I noticed you posted about this along with Connie, Gabes, and some others. Meanwhile, take care of yourself and I hope you find the comfort you need. You'll be in my prayers, Love JoAnn
