Uncle Ben's rice

Post by Grahm »

I meant to buy reg rice and not enriched. I bought this and it says original but in small letters underneath it says Enriched parboiled long grain rice. It does say GF. I have not tried rice since DX. What do you think? I was going to put it in chicken soup.

Thanks,
Connie

Hi Connie,

As far as I am aware (according to sources which check out such things), Uncle Ben's Rice is gluten-free. I don't eat rice very often, but I use Uncle Ben's occasionally.

Enjoy.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Thanks Tex, as always. I'll try it and if I have problems I'll report back and maybe it will help someone else.
