What a 2-Week Whirlwind - Ear & Sinus Infection Saga

Post by MaggieRedwings »

Hi There,

This is just a quick post to sound off and be crabby about how I feel. Sinus and ear infection results in a you must take it antibiotics - Augmentin 875 mg. - for 10 days which I took with a large dosage of probiotics. I end them tonight at dinner. All and all it has resulted in constant D, thrush, and hemorrhoids. Needless to say I am not a happy camper. Thanks for letting me vent.

Love, Maggie

Ugh Maggie, awful! I hope things begin to improve soon. Are the infections gone at least?

Hi Maggie,

Sorry to hear that you found yourself in that situation. As Jean said, I hope the antibiotic did the job, at least.

Hope you feel much better soon.

Love,
Tex

Oh, Maggie. How awful. I hope that the infections are cleared up and you can begin to heal.

Thanks for the support and well wishes. The infection is almost gone and the thrush is leaving slowly. See doctor tomorrow and will deal with the other yeast infection. That is really the worse part for someone who sits all day at work.

Hi Maggie!

So sorry to hear about your bout with sinus/ear infection and other associated atrocities. It sucks, doesn't it? Glad you are on the mend. Has the D settled down some? Hope so.

Saw your note on the other thread about having a drink together. One of these days we MUST do that in person. We could meet in the "middle" somewhere, since we are in adjacent states. And you could bring along a cigar to smoke as we drink some vino.

Love, Polly
