It is a sad fact that people are either afraid ti dicipline or just don't have the time. I was in a supermarket when my son (@ the time was 7)m acted up and I grabed him by the arm and swatted his hiney....a woman said to me from down the Isle "I am going to report you to the welfare authorities." I said lady...wait right there because you are next." She left. I beleive children live wait they learn. The want dicipline and need it. I'm glad I am not raising kids today. Love Oma
Good job Oma! I love that attitude, kids need discipline and I also choose a good swat on the behind every once in a while with my grands. I refuse to talk until I'm blue in the face. If they don't listen the first time (maybe the second), SWAT here she comes!
"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha

That's right tell her to mind her own bees wax. My first to kids were about 15 months apart & I was in town one day carrying Judy at about 3 weeks old & Susie about 16 months on reins. A woman abused me & said that I was treating her like a dog. I expect she would have rather I let her run out in the traffic.
