Entocort & Vision

Post by merehenthorn »

Hi friends,

I'm curious if anyone else has experienced difficulty reading while taking Entocort EC / Budesonide. I'm having difficultly getting my eyes to focus on both electronic and printed material. While I can manage to read for a short period of time, it takes a good deal of effort and makes me slightly dizzy. My vision seems to be ok for other activities.

I have a call into my GI about this as blurred vision is listed as a potential side effect of Entocort EC / Budesonide.

Kind thanks.

Hi,

Welcome to our internet family. Yes, more than a few members here have had similar neurological effects from budesonide. While it's not a common problem, some of us have adverse reactions, and we simply cannot tolerate the drug.

Again, welcome aboard, and please feel free to ask anything.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
