Hi All,
No doubt I reacted to the wine, but I may be blaming the continued D on it by mistake. Seems I've been eating oranges everyday since the party.
You may remember that last summer I drank a lot of orange juice and thought that I reacted. Since then I've had small amounts of citrus with no problem, so I figured I wasn't intolerant of it. It dawned on me yesterday when there was orange pulp in my D that it's probably the oranges.
Next time I come up with something that doesn't make sense, like reacting to wine for 2 weeks, just kick me! I must have lost my detective hat at the Christmas party!
Love, Jean
Heck, it may not have been the wine

Be kind to everyone, because you never know what battles they are fighting.
Jean,
Well, assuming that it was the oranges, that's still good detective work. True, it might have been better, if you had suspected them a week or so sooner, but the main thing is, you did figure it out, so you're still battin' a pretty good average.. It's never easy, when you have more than one trigger involved.
I'm just happy that you found the culprit.
Love,
Wayne

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Hi Jean,
Glad you figured it out.
Blame it on "brain fog" which is for me, at least, is an early indication that something I'm eating is just not gelling with my body and mind. I get the brain fog before any other symptoms.
I've been testing myself the last month with things I have not eaten in months. Funny, I thought I might be okay and be able to enjoy my Mothers cranberry pudding with hot butter sauce for Christmas...and I ate lots of other no-no's as an experiment. I threw my sheets to the wind for a couple weeks and enjoyed every minute of it but, WRONG CHOICE.
Was it worth it? I dunno, I enjoyed the heck out of it but now I'm having to suffer while working towards getting back on track. I know what I can and cannot eat and thats a good feeling. I know I will be okay.
Dieting to control MC works for me just fine, as long as I stay on track.
Love,
Joanna
