With MCAD, genetically altered mast cells are
Whoa! This caught my attention. Is that actually true? That implies that MCAD can only occur in the presence of the MTHFR gene mutations. I was under the impression that they are independent issues, and while they may be a bigger problem when both are present, could it be that MCAD can only exist in the presence of the MTHFR gene mutation complex as a prerequisite?

My research this far, mast cell is common for many gene mutation issues, not just MTHFR, as histamine type inflammation is linked to nutrient/mineral deficiencies ie D3, magnesium, Vit C, Zinc, B6, B12.

It's not as easy as doing b12 supplementation, the right forms in the right doses are needed, for some over extended period of time.
Also, correcting deficiencies will take longer if there is excess inflammation and leaky gut issues.
