Whoa! This caught my attention. Is that actually true? That implies that MCAD can only occur in the presence of the MTHFR gene mutations. My research this far, mast cell is common for many gene mutation issues, not just MTHFR, as histamine type inflammation is linked to nutrient/mineral deficiencies ie D3, magnesium, Vit C, Zinc, B6, B12.
It's not as easy as doing b12 supplementation, the right forms in the right doses are needed, for some over extended period of time.
Also, correcting deficiencies will take longer if there is excess inflammation and leaky gut issues.
